Laparoscopic Surgery for Intestinal Disorders

Laparoscopic surgery is a technique for performing surgery that uses of a small camera called aLaparoscopic to view the surgical site. It is also referred to as “minimally invasive surgery” because it usually involves making smaller incisions than traditional techniques. This surgical technique has been commonly used for many years for gynecologic and gall bladder surgery and its use has expanded into intestinal surgery.
