Removing Pressure
If you have any stage of a pressure ulcer, remove all pressure from the site. This is called the offloading.
Change your position every 1 to 2 hours to keep the pressure off anyone spot.
If you can’t turn yourself due to a medical condition or injury,a special bed or alternating pressure air, foam, or gel mattress may be needed.
